Stefan D’Auteuil, LMT has been treating patients with pain and movement restrictions for over 20 years. He specializes in neuromuscular therapy with an emphasis on addressing the intricate relationship between the nervous system and the muscular system to alleviate soft tissue and joint dysfunction. This approach recognizes that many conditions stem from imbalances in the body’s structural alignment, leading to tightening of muscles, presence of trigger points and restriction in blood flow, provoking pain and movement dysfunction.
The treatment process begins with an assessment of posture, identifying areas of discomfort and tension. Drawing from this assessment, he employs various techniques to address the underlying soft tissue restrictions. These techniques may include myofascial release, trigger point therapy, instrument assisted mobilization and Tui Na tailored to the specific needs of the patient. By applying pressure to specific points, releasing tension in tight muscles, and promoting proper alignment and range of motion, he aims to reduce pain and restore optimal muscle length-tension balance and joint alignment
Stefan graduated from the Southeastern School of Neuromuscular Therapy and continued his studies in biofeedback and Traditional Chinese Medicine. He has a reputation for effective treatment of spinal pain, joint pain and TMJ dysfunction.
